What is it? – CAMRA Forth Valley LocAle is a new accreditation scheme is specifically designed to promote pubs that sell locally-brewed real ale, reducing the number of 'beer miles' and supporting your local breweries.
So what's in it for the Publican?
If your local already stock local Real Ale then LocAle will help them promote the fact, encouraging more people to try it, increasing turn-over giving you fresher beer with a more regular turn-over.

If your local doesn’t currently stock a local beer this is your opportunity to encourage them to start. LocAle will assist them to differentiate themselves from other local pubs, thereby gaining new customers and increasing your beer sales.
Stocking locally brewed real ale will also give pubs a business the edge over supermarkets and off-licences selling low-cost mass-market lagers. Help revitalize your Local with LocAle.
What's involved - can anyone join?
If a pub wishes to benefit from participation in the CAMRA LocAle scheme they must agree to endeavour to ensure that at least one locally-brewed real ale is on sale at all times. Only real ale can be promoted as a CAMRA LocAle.
